Slab 21 | Rufus picture jasper, OR | 5 1/4" very thick slab, Rufus doesn't get much better than this. I was being stingy with the one piece I bought a couple decades ago, then the mine opened to the public and I dug an obscene amount. I'm not sure if they still let people dig or not. It stands up nicely on its own. |

Slab 22 | Petrified wood, Escalante, Utah | 3 1/2", 1 1/4" very thick slice. Awesome colors for any petrified wood and the back is fine sanded so it just needs a polisher if you want both sides polished. The world famous Escalante Petrified Forest was open to the public for decades, then it was put in a state park. So no more is coming out. I acquired this from the person who dug it with his father 40+ years ago. I have one huge piece from him that's waiting for a week of hot weather so I can contour polish it :) | $20.00 |

Slab 24 | Royal Velvet obsidian, Mexico | 4 1/2" piece, the mines in Mexico now export 99% of the velvet type to Asia. Any that you can find in this country is way overpriced. This is tippity-top grade, the sheen visible in any decent light. |
